Digital Assets

Digital Assets are the fastest growing alternative asset class over the past decade.  In 2024 the pace of global adoption has further accelerated.  January 11, 2024, eleven of the largest financial companies in the United States launched new digital asset products.  Many financial powerhouse countries and states have created specific legislation for the advancement of digital assets including:  the United States, England, France, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg, Italy, Switzerland, India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Brazil, and more.

Our team has been investing in digital assets and advising private clients since 2017.  Our Large Cap and Emerging Leader Digital Assets Strategy has been extraordinarily successful over the past 7 years, compared to all other traditional asset allocations.

Adoption rates, network effects, and economic trends indicate there is significant growth yet to come in the asset class, and specifically some assets over others.  Digital assets are an asymmetric return, hedge, alternative asset class that is largely uncorrelated to major stock, bond, and currency markets.  Global trends point towards continued growth of digital assets.

Emerging Leader Digital Assets

The Digital Asset market has grown substantially in technological capabilities and in economic value since 2009.  Bitcoin is the oldest, most decentralized, and has the most brand recognition of the digital assets as of 2024.  There is however, a broad market of other specialized protocols that is ever evolving and addressing additional use cases for blockchain.

What we refer to as Emerging Leader digital assets have outpaced the impressive performance of Bitcoin since 2017.  Our Large Cap and Emerging leader strategy seeks to track the largest digital assets based on criteria, including 5-year market capitalization, concentration limits, compliance, and trade volume minimums. We also seek to allocate investments into Emerging Leader digital assets for additional alpha.
